For bars I recommend Zeitgeist and the Hemlock [different parts of town]. There's a sushi place in the Mission that's totally awesome [everyone is Japanese but they dress like cowboy hippies and the decor follows the costuming]. If only I could remember the name of it......... oh noes!

Also, Aunt Charlie's down in the tenderloin [a mere 2 blocks away from where i lived] is an awesome bar that had drag 80s dance party night on thursdays [if my memory serves]. Definitely check it out. I'm sure it's awesome over the weekend too. And it's within walking distance form the Hemlock. Those are my official stomping grounds

oh! definitely hit up chinatown and if you do it after hours, go to the Lipo Lounge which is a stupid rad bar.
