Roller-Coaster Day... I think I'm gonna be sick!
4 Days till MCAT!!!
And in other news...
Well, it's been one of those rollercoaster days, when life sends you a "down" every time you're "up"... (or, in a more optimistic way - life sends you an "up" every time you're "down"...)
DOWN: Missed my bus today by about a millisec, and had to wait in the rain for the next one that came only 20 mins later.
UP: Having missed the bus gave Anna and I enough time to hop into the nearby coffee shop (this cool, small, independant coffeeshop across the street from my appartment) and get some really good really cheap coffee... (I ran out of both milk and creamer the night before, so the coffee at my place was nice and black like a Russian armpit!)
DOWN: Fell asleep on the bus and didn't get even half of the reading I was planning for the ride (about an hour's worth) done...
UP: For some magical reason, the bus got to my first lecture 20 mins early, allowing me to find a good spot in the lecture hall and to catch up on some of that reading...
DOWN: At the beginning of Geology class, I was 3 places beyond the cut-off point in the line to sign up for an exctra-credit fieldtrip...
UP: Only when I got back to my sit, did I realize that the Geology professor cancelled the only section of the trip that met at a time that would fit my schedule, which meant that I wouldn't have been able to make it to the fieldtrip anyway...
DOWN: Got chilled to the bone and drenched by this wonderful Spring weather we're having...
UP: Just got a call from Sarah, telling me that she found the wool hat that I lost in her appartment two weeks ago... So, As God is my witness, I will never go cold again!
Anyway, just one of those days...
EDIT: Another "Down" - Due to LJ fuck-ups, this is the THIRD time I'm writing up this entry...
