Sometimes I don't think people want to hear the truth about the economy. There are so many reasons the country (USA) is in the state is in, war being a major factor in screwing any economy for example. Resurrection
The title says it all. I'm hoping to use this journal again. I'm a boring person, though, and I'm not in to putting my life on display. But I see this is a good place to write about...well, my writing.

More Fiction
It's funny. I feel like I've been accomplishing more lately with my fiction than my poetry. Odd poetry comes easier to me than fiction, but it's been one rejection after another. Going on 16 rejections in a row. No poetry acceptances since September.
I hate winter.
Everything is so dead. And doubt creeps in. -

Yeah, so maybe I am a bit upset about one rejection after the other, more than normal. I miss the thrill of going into my inbox and seeing an acceptance. I can't help it. Dry County...
Yeah, things have been a little quiet here. It has been one rejection after another. Perhaps I'm setting my sights too high. I don't think any of my poetry has been accepted since September and a flash last month. Like I say, I guess it only makes me work harder. Write more. Write better ( Read more... ) -

Yet another two-rejections-in-one-day day. Now, I am one to handle rejections. I just get right back on the horse and send some poems off somewhere else. But 2 at once sometimes can be annoying.
And that's all I have to say about that. -
I need a flashlight...
I'm having great difficutly in finding the ending to a flash fiction piece I've been working on. Flash fiction is so much harder than a regular short story, but it's something I've been enjoying as of late. However this is frustrating to me to a great extent...I just can't find the ending to this story! Somebody...I need a flashlight... -
Editing
I wish I was a better writing in that I didn't have to write so many drafts to a simple short story. The process of editing a story is just not enjoyable when you try and try and rewrite over and over again and you still can't get things right.
