Love is an excuse to hurt and get hurt. But it's better to love then to not love at all. Love is a wonderful, but painful experience, it's like life and death. lol... well to me, I don't know about you. heehee
love is volunteering your heart to be fixed or broken. its a risk that is both rejuvinating and horribly frightening. true love will set you free and capture you at the same time. its being afraid of getting hurt but not caring because its so amazing and wonderful. the person you love can either make or break your day. if they are aggitated, you are aggitated. if they are happy, you are happy. they have a huge effect on your day. they can alter your moods so drastically that its hardly believable. but its beautiful. its beautiful to be alone together. its beautiful to fall head over heals. the giddiness and silliness that comes with it is like reliving the best moments of your childhood where things dont matter and you are easy and eager to please.

Love is dandy as long as you find the right person to love. By that I mean someone who will love you just as much, if not more, and who will never intentionally hurt you.
Love is something quite inexplicable physiologically, but the effects are clear.
Being in love is similar to being on MDMA (Ecstasy) as far as the physiological effects go. Makes you feel comfortable, outgoing, energetic, able to appreciate life more, aroused, etc etc, but it also leads to paranoia, fear, etc etc.
But, unlike MDMA, whose effects no longer work after 7 years of mild use, love somehow can last longer than that.
So yeah, that's love from a fairly scientific POV.
there are many variants of love. love for your loved ones, love for your lover, love for love itself, and love on love on love. But i think that love is forgotten in this age. The way love is now, this being the present and near future, is more focused on the shallow and the nieve. At least everything is aimed at feeling good, and serving yourself first. Love is about puting forth others before you. It is about loving yourself, and by doing so may you love another. If your shallow, if you have a lower sence of yourself, then the aim of which your love is aimed shall be very much the same. Id say, if you want to love, then love without lies. love without motive, love without deception, love without gain, wealth or power. If you can do this, you will trully love. Perhaps 3 percent of the world will ever experience this...will you?
