not legally... the law believes it can dictate who we choose as family... but, we are going to have a handfasting ceremony. we will consider ourselves married.
Ahh yes that little legal techinality. When Mel & I were looking to do a JP before Bree was born I found out that my divorce was dismissed. When I was married I lived in Washington State so I filed for divorce while I was living in Bellingham, WA. Due to my job I had to move to Montana during the divorce and left things to the lawyer. Well he droped the ball. While we are not leagaly married Mel & I consider ourselves married and one day soon once I get the divorce done we will be. However we will not let that stop us from pursuing our relationship or poly relationships.
Thanks, honey. I'm nervous and excited. I'll have to tell you about it in person. I need other people, (women specifically), to harass him about the wording of his answer. Talk to you soon...

And as an FYI I have another blog as well. It covers Polyamory, unschooling and (sailboat) cruising/living aboard.
