First, you have to believe that it is not only POSSIBLE, but that it can happen easily. You have used a lot of language to describe a very bleak worldview.

Reframe it. Find hope. Find what works, what is going right. And then amplify it.

A doomed underdog trying to change the world against impossible odds might make for a good Monomyth story, but it only serves to manifest doom, underdogs, and impossible odds in RL.
