I have all of these ideas. They fly through my brain at a breakneck pace, circling around my perceptions of the world, trying to find a place to light. Ideas about love, equality, gender, sex, relationships, peace, an end to war, politics, conquering fear, releasing all of our inherent power to effect the world for the better ( Read more... )

Yeah. If you want to think that and make yourself a perpetual martyr to a system you refuse to try to actually, actively change. Sure.

I have no intention of being a martyr. I do not feel I am on a cross. What I do feel is this:

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." -- Matthew 5: 14-16

No, I am not taking the standard approach of getting involved in politics, or actively protesting against it. I am, however, shining a light on the problems, pointing them out to other, and encouraging others to break free of those controls.

Two thoughts:
First, not WWIII...World War Infinity. But that doesn't mean its hopeless...every heart awakened is a final victory.

Second, when someone makes a negative comment, or says a thought is too scary...that's a red flag to PURSUE IT!
