Even though I just bought some recycled silk yarn and intend to knit a shawl for myself out of it, I STILL don't consider myself a knitter ( Read more... )

I'm surprised that they don't have it at local bookstores, as Cat Bordhi is one of the "big names" in knitting right now. (Or maybe they're just out of stock!)

Good luck if you decide to pursue this project!

I did a search at both Borders and Barnes&Noble and neither had her knitting books in stock. Border's didn't even know who she WAS! Freaky.

I just think the dragon socks are ADORABLE!!!

And no, I don't wear socks, not hardly at all, but DUDE! DRAGON SOCKS!!!

Those are totally awesome. I might even think about trying, again, to learn to knit. I tried once before but I just can't seem to hold the needles the way I need to. :(

I would *so* trip myself and probably make myself dead, were I to make those dragon socks. But...they are cool. heh

And hey, if I can learn to do socks, you can! You've certainly done far more complicated things than I have in the past. hee So I'm sure you can figure it out. ^_^

Besides, it's not like you don't have people on your flist you can pester if you can't figure something out, right? *G*
