- Koyasu Takehito (because come on. Even just looking at recently: Neuro! Luck Gandor! Harem! Excalibur!)
- Nakai Kazuya (ZORO, GUYS. And Hijikata)
- Hirai Tatsuya. (Um. He was Katsuya in Kichiku Megane, aka rape glasses game. What can I tell you, the man's voice drips sex no matter what he's saying or what type of character he's playing. Kichiku Megane is the perfect example of that ._.) [a creepy compilation from the game, um, the sound is nsfw if you can understand the japanese, and kind of is anyway regardless.] [From another game. Same warnings apply. + I kind of just want my life to be an action/adventure shounen series :P Magic powers or abilities, special weapons, TEAMWORK, supposed villains begrudgingly helping out the good guys every once in a while, epic training montages, and knowing that in the end it really does all work out.

In other news... night before last, as my buzz was.. still happily buzzing, I for some reason thought it would be a fabulous idea to read manga. At 3am. Luckily I picked up something relatively simple, Karneval vol 1, or I dread to think what I would have made of it. Still, I've been meaning to read it for a while since it's been showing up in Zero Sum, and found it at Book-Off for 105 yen, so it's a win situation all-round. Except for the whole possibly missing key plot points due to being intoxicated. Ah well. At any rate, it was really fun! I enjoyed the actual story and characters a lot more than I thought I would... I guess lately I've had some bad luck picking up series based on the art and blurbs, and a lot of the Zero-Sum / GFantasy / Avarus stuff tends to blur together for me after a certain point (excepting the big series).
So yeah. I love the weird combination of old fashioned circus/freakshow with all that delicious technology and POWERS and regular old corrupt cops and so on. Can't ask for more in the art; it's gorgeous. And for once I find myself liking ALL the characters. Nai is sweet and sad in his innocence/ignorance to read at the same time, Gareki is hilarious in his grumpiness (and awesome for his bombcraft skills), Hirato is outrageous and has a top hat (OKAY I AM TIRED), and YOGI, OH YOGI. Your name upsets me outside Japanese, but I just want to squoosh you. You, your rapier and your acrobatics, your crazy hair, and your weird robotic ram clone fetish. And how you act like a little kid one minute, then are kicking ass and licking your bloodstained rapier the next o.o
Next up for reading would be Karneval 2 (if I even have it, I don't even know anymore D: mrah) and VASSALORD BECAUSE HOLY SHIT VOLUME 3. As mentioned before. Just.. go to the comm and stare at the pictures. That is all.
