[The office was dark, cold and terrifyingly quiet as the don sat behind his desk. He's lost all knowledge of how many days have past, or how long since he last had anything to eat, much less leave this room. His guardians have left him be, making sure the children were taken care of as well as staying away from the office.
He makes a soft irritated noise at the knock on his door, but doesn't answer, instead turning in his chair.]
[ She whimpers softly, hiding behind the door. There is a frown on her youthful face, her eyes misty with tears as she grips the door almost harshly. ---she had just run away, run away from your guardians. She wanted to see you. ]
