Her Rissa, good job. The guy looks like a deer caught in headlights in the first one. I take it that you used your flash, or a plain old halogen/tungsten lamp to compensate for the backlighting, or did you just meter off of the people? Anyways, good job :)

Everyone keeps talking about halogen work lights but I have no idea what the hell they are. :(

And we were going to do it against the wall where the window was facing, but then the sun was on it's way down so we ended up putting the sheet over the window for the extra light.

Oh yeah! They're awesome! You can get them at stores like Canadian Tire, any "Home" stores and even places like Walmart I think?

I myself am picking up two of them tomorrow! :-D

Backlighting is good, but it should be soft. That's the reason why they came out so dark.

I love the first one as well! ♥ I need models tewww! If you ever come back to the Coast, we'll take turns modelling for each other mmmk? xD

I have no background in photography as you can tell from my website. So I have no comments on that. However, I must say your ability to make me pee my pants is very successful because when your page first loaded up and there was some creepy emotionless man in a suit staring back at me i thought it was another one of your concert shoots and i was scared because he wouldn't be a good guitarist. Thank you.

At first I didn't read the 'ad' and I was like - how in the HELL does that remind her of an apple. And I don't think I've ever really seen any apple ads haha.
