So, the day is passed like any other day and I feel compelled to rant a little. I've never been cool with Valentine's Day. It's essentially a pseudo-holiday created by companies to sell off loads of cards, flowers, chocolates and useless crap under the guise of 'doing something special' for that special someone in your life. I don't like it

no, you're very right. (Although wouldn't it be 363 on a leap year? :P)
If your relationship actually needs a day were you're forced to tell each other how you feel because you can't do it any other day, it must be a pretty sad relationship. I personally prefer a relationship where you do random acts of sweetness, or go out to random places and do fun things and enjoy your time together. That's how relationships are supposed to be.
That's my thought anyway.

Your post is totally invalid due to your apparent inability to grasp the 'leap year.' You know those years when February goes to 29 days? You would know them, they come about every four years or so - in the biz, we call those "leap years."

I think I was under the impression that February always had 29 days and leap years had 28. Clearly I never payed attention to how leap yers worked as a child
