(no subject)
So I had a really fun .
Friday was Ben and mine's 6 month anniversary. After work, he told me to come over and there was a note on his door that said follow the instructions. There were these little envelopes all around the apartment that had our story on it, and a picture in each envelope of us. The last envelope said to meet him outside under the trees for a picnic. It was really cute. Then, 8 of us got ready and went to a Hibachi. It was really delicious, and everyone had fun. Ben and I went to Penn's Landing which is like our little Philadelphia boardwalk on the Delaware River, and it was really nice just walking around and talking. Came back and watched some TV and chilled and whatnot.
Saturday woke up, got dressed and went to IHOP. Had a delicious breakfast and then came back and got ready to go to my house. Got to Bradley and we got to drive my dad's convertible, so that was cool. We went to the mall and bought Danielle's birthday present (plus some lotion for myself) and then got some White Castle (it was Ben's first time). Then we came back, played with the kitten for a while, watched some TV, and went to the beach. First we sumo wrestled and I got dominated but it was fun anyway. Then we laid on the sand and talked about aliens and ghosts and family and cool stuff like that. We saw 5 shooting stars, which is probably a record for me. And he's only seen one once before in his life. So that was really cool. Headed back to my house and went to bed.
Sunday, we went with my parents to Englishtown auction. My dad taught Ben some new games: "Cadillac Whack" and "Pinch Mini" so my parents were beating each other up and I was getting beat the whole car ride. Haha...Walked around Englishtown and bought some batteries for my Giga Pets, which my mom found somewhere. So we're taking care of them now, but they're so difficult! Headed home, made a CD, and headed for Prospectors. Ben learned 3 new country dances, so that was really awesome. I danced a lot, learned a few new ones, and then Danielle and I did some dances that no one else knew, which was pretty embarrassing since I had a brain fart on one of them when EVERYONE was watching. Oh well. Anyway, came back to Drexel and went to bed.
It was definitely a good weekend. Now I'm looking for a bigger bed because mine is too small for Ben and I. We sleep in his bed now, but Colby just moved in, so we're going to have to sleep in my room from now on if we want to actually get some sleep. So I've been searching. Anyway, good times!
