Can't believe it...
has been twelve years since my dad passed away. How can that be possible? It only seems like yesterday. He would be so proud of GIovanni and so in love with Morgan. I miss him so much it hurts. -

Drake's Birthday
When I was pregnant with Drake I craved anything spicy, from Mexican food to Super Hot Tamales (candy). To honor his birthday we go out for Mexican food. It is parent teacher conference night and I am stuck here until 8PM. At least I actually had parents show up today. There were two no shows but I expected them not to show up. I also had an IEP meeting scheduled and a manifestation determination hearing. An IEP meeting is an Individual Education Plan. All special education students have one and ( Read more... ) -
Discovery!
I just discovered that I can get on livejournal after 3:45PM. So I can make some quick entries after school. Anyway, I have three new students since my last post. The newest one of which cussed his mother out in front of the entire school this morning then refused to go to the cafeteria for breakfast. Good times on a rainy Friday morning ( Read more... ) -
Update
I am finally online for a little while anyway. Morgan is now walking all the time. She had been walking for a while but just chose not too all of the time. Then when she finally decided to walk rather than crawl she was still kind of wobbly. We took her to the park and just let her run and run. I guess having to balance on the uneven grass helped ( Read more... ) -
Still here
Life has been very crazy lately. I had surgery in late July, our grandfather was hospitalized for heart problems, Morgan was rushed to the hospital from the doctor's office by ambulance, my mom has had to have surgery on her eyes, our grandmother had surgery for lung cancer, and my aunt went into diabetic shock right before Christmas. 2008 has got ( Read more... ) -
