My very first yunjae fic *blush blush* Dedicated to my bested bestfriends~ ilusm ♥♥♥
My heart kept on beating and beating crazily against my chest. Tense and worry mixed as I couldn’t sit tight. My colleagues were so keen listening to the executive manager of MAX Holdings, Mr Choi Siwon but here I was worried sick for unknown reason.
Why? What’s happening actually? Why suddenly I felt this way? I was not sure myself. Everything just seems wrong. It looked like something bad is going to happen.
“Okay, that’s all for today meeting. And Jaejoong-shii, please hand over our company finance report for the last six months after this. Dismiss”. I felt so relieved that this boring meeting had finally come to an end. As soon as the report reached Mr Siwon’s hand, I rushed to my office as I couldn’t wait to call my precious daughter, Ji Yul. And again my heart beat frantically just like before. “Oh God, please protect Ji Yul.” Hope nothing bad will happen to her..
` “Jae?” My secretary, Shim Changmin greeted me as I passed by his desk.
“Yes? Any message for me?” I asked him in hurry as I tried my best to calm myself.
“Hmm… there’s a gentleman waiting for you in your office,” he said again. “Very good looking, Jae.”
My heartbeat increase rapidly and all blood seem to gather at my cheeks. I felt so hot. Actually between me and my secretary, there is no secret whatsoever. We freely speak our mind towards each other. We were like close friend.
“What gentleman? Am I expecting someone?” Oh I didn’t like this. I really really didn’t like this.
“But he says he know you. He’s from the lawyer office that we often make a deal with recently,” explained Changmin.
I sighed deeply. “He has been here for a while?”
“Yeah. Almost half an hour.”
“What’s his name?”
“I thought you know.”
“How could I know? I’m not expecting someone today.” I almost yelled to him. Changmin lost of word. He mouthed silence ‘sorry’ for his earlier remark.
I hate this man surprise. Even though we have some business connection, he can’t do as he will. He didn’t have the right to wait for me at my office without any appointment. What did he have mind for?
Wait a sec. Could he be…? Nahh!! I threw away that sudden thought. I took a deep breath before I pulled open my office’s door.
“You want me to serve some drinks?” Changmin asked carefully.
Stealing a glance at my Casio hand watch, it’s almost 12 p.m. “It’s ok. Maybe I’ll invite him for lunch. If Yoochun calls, tell him that I have to cancel our lunch. I have a guest here.”
And with that, I entered my room to take a look at that patience man.
“Hello, sorry to keep you waiting,” I said cheerily. Of course it’s a fake.
Apparently no one sitting at my guest sofa but my eyes darted to the nearby window. My heart skipped a beat. There was a well-built figure blocking the sun ray from entering my room. From his back, he looked so damn gorgeous and hot. And without second thought, I knew who this man was. My body trembled as my earlier thought was not just a stupid guess. This was the moment I’d been craving for so long. After ten years had passed, finally he appeared.
The man turned around and stared at me deeply. “Hi, Jae.”
The voice. I missed it very much. It didn’t change a bit. “ Or should I call you Mr Kim instead?”
I quickly turned my gaze away from him and moved towards my desk. My cheeks reddened slightly as he kept on gawking at me. Meeting him again only lived up the pain that he left a decade ago.
“How are you doing?” he asked sarcastically. I just ignored his presence and busied myself rearranging the papers and files to the right place.
There was an awkward silence between us. I felt nervous suddenly and it was hard for me to look at him without remembering the painful past. After ten years of disappearing, he just turned up now. My father was right all along. He didn’t die. He purposely left me.
“Nice office.” He commented while looking around us. “Even my office is not as big as yours. Well, no wonder. After all you’re the son of the famous most successful businessman in Korea.” I couldn’t take this any longer..
“What are you doing here Yunho, Mr Jung Yunho? Just get to the point now. And then please leave.” I said as calm as I could. My voice faked my true feeling.
Suddenly he threw a popular business magazine towards me as Ji Yul, my parents and I appeared as a front cover of it. I knew this was going to happen. My mother’s agreement to accept the invitation to be the main story of this magazine for this month issue will surely initiated Yunho’s reaapearance. And putting Ji Yul together only worsened the condition.
I had voiced my concern to my parents and clearly against it but no one ever listened to me. And now the secret is unfold..

“Where is Ji Yul, Jae? Where is my daughter that you keep hiding from me all this time?” he yelled at me furiously.
