Thank you!. ooomidgetmanooo got it right, I dropped water onto a CD in the kitchen sink.

I was going to ask the same question, but by the looks of it (and by experiencing these rainbows in my car today...) I would say that it's the underside of a CD.

You got it. I shot water on a CD before and liked the results, so I thought I should revisit the idea and try to improve on it.
