I was talking with "Stafford" about how my U.S. History teacher tried to convince me to go to prom based on its anthropological importance, which led to us re-enacting the major parts of the prom experience, including the asking. But it has been delayed until Thursday of next week, instead of today, since the showcase has so many acts (and the girls will as a result be unable to prepare in time).

I'll keep an eye out for you, hopefully you won't be around on Saturday, when everybody will be on field trips. In any case, they can't tell you that you're not a Governor's Scholar.
