All her life, my mom has liked owls - collected owl knick knacks, dolls, etc. Yesterday, a beautiful owl appeared in my parent's side yard, right outside the sliding door in the living room. Mom ate well again today, even came out to the living room to sit in her chair for a little while. Trink and I went grocery shopping, and a storm blew up - lightning and thunder and monsoon rains.
