The last time I [really] spoke to my dad was on Father's day of 2013. He told me my youngest brother was in the hospital for heart-related issues.  A few days later, after speaking to my  brother, he said "I really think we'll be planning a funeral soon

I have two sons... My younger son died 9 years ago... But - he never left me in all of these years...
I feel him... I hear his words in my heart... I am all clouded & supported by his Love & Care...
Do you feel that from your Dad? If you don't - then ask him (& God) to help you find the way to feel & hear your Dad...

I try so hard to feel that from him. I dreamt about him a few months ago. Now it seems as if he doesn't visit me anymore. I guess I need God to help me right now.

He can't visit you - because it's causing you so much of pain. But when your pain will get somewhat lesser & healed… (If you’d be willing to let it be healed…) Then - he would be able to be back to your Dreams… For sure…
