I just wrote out my first mortgage payment.  This was stressful because:
(a) It's a big number.
(b) I was writing it on my very last check and was afraid I'd make a mistake.  (I have ordered new checks with my new address.)
(c) I had to look up the current postage and find out if my stamps, which have no amount on them, are for the current postage

Yes, you need to come here! You might find New Jersey dull, but this is horse country in these parts, so you could commune with the intelligent creatures.

I will be getting one this week. Really. I need to because my neck is killing me today.

I did get compliments on the salad.

A new washer and dryer would be wonderful but right now just having a w/d about ten paces from my bed is a huge major fantabulous luxury. Lounge in bed with laptop, get up to switch wash, right back in bed with laptop. Which reminds me that being able to be online whilst in bed is also a major luxury. I love my lappy and want to have its shiny white apple-covered babies.

Yes, having lived in an apartment in the past that required I go downstairs to the laundry room to do mine, I never take for granted having a w/d in my own home.

Don't you want pear babies instead?
