Y!gallery down for the moment

Looks like y!gallery is down!

Due to a hard drive failure, the site is closed until this issue is resolved. I would like to kindly remind our members that we're an old site that has not done a server upgrade in 5+ years... Donations to help for a better site and upgrade would be greatly appreciated.

I agree. I guess it's been threatening, what with all the terrible slowdowns we've been having. I'm waiting to see if they know exactly what they're going to do, and if they'll be able to do it, before I donate anything.

I wish that there was another way to donate other than through Amazon. Do we know of anyone we 'trust' that has an amazon account that could act as a collector?
Did that even make sense?
Hope y!gal is back online soon cause I am going to miss it.

There are a handful of people I'd trust to do it, but that could get complicated. It does make sense :) It's like, the people I'd trust to do it, I wouldn't want to put them in the position where they had to XD

I hope it's back soon too! It'll be sad if it's down for v-day/the site's anniversary, but it looks like it may be down for some time. Booo. At least we have other places, though none of them really fill the void that ygal leaves XD

Also, I know it's not a fix for all of y-gal, but there are several LJ comms that would be great places to post art & fic until y-gal comes back up. chad_ishida, anyone? ;)
