I checked again, and it's not just the director, the writer is also from W. This series is more than just saved. I anticipate epic hilarity and overwhelming fanservice. ♥ Plus, it's got Ryuuki playing the main character's "aibou."

I'm still kind of reserved about the whole thing as this is starting to get absolutely ridiculous in terms of form changing. W was excellent, OOO is good in its own way, but I'm starting to get REALLY tired of form change increase for the sake of increasing the number of things they can market (which, let's be honest, both OOO and Gokaiger are ways to increase merchandising - albeit incredibly AWESOME ways of merchandising, but still).

I'm predicting a parody of high school super heroes or something along those lines for Fourz, just from the description you gave.

Hahahah. Time has flown by this Kamen Rider season!!! It's crazy to think that we've only got 8 or so episodes left of OOOs! But, as much as I don't want it to end yet, I'm really excited to see another story by the team that brought us W~. I can't say that I'm impressed with the rider design so far, but I'm in it for the storytelling and the character development more than I am the fighting anyways.

Reminding myself of the beautiful film noir detective story parody that this pair has already made, I have almost complete confidence that they can bring the same sort of treatment to this "high school drama." I'm setting my hopes high and crossing my fingers for something that reminds me of the early days of Danny Phantom.

Also, word on recent toku being total marketing tools. Still, I want to own it all. O_O The people at Bandai are geniuses when it comes to merch.
