I am writing safely from under a bundle of blankets on my coworker's couch. I am shaken- literally- but still in one piece. I am sure by now you have heard about the earthquakes that hit Japan.

So far things have kind of gone back to normal, except a lot of aftershocks (there's been over 150, according to the news, and that sounds about right) and a noticeable gas shortage (I don't know if you remember that I have a gas station near my place, but people are lined up all down the street trying to get gasoline) and a BROKEN TOASTER (D: D: D: It was brand new) everything is almost normal here.
I don't know if you remember there was a building across the street, a kind of industrial thing? With a big weird loading door on the second floor? It's totaled. It's weird to look out the window and see all the yellow tape, but at least it wasn't someone's house.
