I'm back from the second viewing and I noticed something I hadn't in the first. The Batman flood light had been installed again! I think Gordon noticed that after the funeral. I think he didn't get fired.
Yeah, I did think the atomic bomb was over the top! Wouldn't it have destroyed the whole life in the water anyway?
I watched TDK before I did go to the theatre and have to say, the Joker has been wayyy more charismatic then Bane was.
Talia put a knife deeply into Bruce's guts but that didn't seem to have affected him at all! Knowing she was the bad one let me watch the whole movie with other eyes and I now hate their tender scene!
I think Gordon and Batman not meeting at ALL over eight years is just unrealistic and yes, I too thought he at last guessed who Batman is. He isn't stupid! (Or he is for writing the truth about Harvey down...) Blake's reaction to that disappointed me but I loved how much Jim defended Batman!
I can't think straight anymore at the moment, way too late! More later maybe. Have fun watching the original
I am convinced Bruce will be back. He loves Gotham way too much! He has to show Blake how to work all the gadgets (sp?) ;)
The hint for Lucius, that he was alive, was the updated program, wasn't it. And had that something to do with that usb stick they were carrying around and I never figured the purpose of that!
What hint did Blake get??

Yes, the hint for Lucius was the updated auto-pilot. And the program they were carrying around all the time was for erasing your identity, deleting everything from every data base so you could start over again. I bet Bruce had planned to disappear for quite a while. Why else would he have created this kind of program?
Blake's hint was that he inherited something from Bruce - the bag with the gear and the coordinates to get to the batcave. Bruce must have updated his will, which means he must have done it after he'd met Blake and become convinced that he could be the next "Dark Knight".
I'll read your story tomorrow if you don't mind. I can hardly keep my eyes open anymore. Looking forward to it! :)
