Haha. I have an Honors paper to write, two exams to study for...and guess who spent all weekend on the Yale admits site? :-D

hah! don't you dare not go to yale, mihan :) all of the schools on my list made it there because they had great computer science programs. yale doesn't have that great a comp sci department, but i visited anyway because they have some crazy singing. after my visit i knew i wanted to go because of one reason: everyone i met (and i literally mean everyone) i knew i could be friends with. now of course it's possible that i just happened to meet/spend time with three groups of friends that i liked, but i doubt it. anyway, the point is to not worry about hating everyone and to go to yale. :p

eureka! (sidenote: "eureka" was the answer to a question on one of my calc tests on what Archimedes exclaimed. i think one person got it right... :) ) i have another idea for hanging out! i like running and haven't had the self-control to do it in a looong time... maybe you could help me out and make me run?

that's fine. to be honest, by a looong time i mean last summer. and because i quit sports after sophomore year (well, besides tennis, but that doesn't count, because it's pretty much stationary), i haven't done anything physical since then. you have got to be better at running than i am. where do you live? and where is GDS? do you usually run near your house?

CONGRATS! We will most definitely not regret our decision to go to Yale, I am 100%sure. I have also been browsing those admit pages - and no, they just didn't quite do it for me. So Yale is the obvious choice.

As for the running - let me join you folks, I've recently neglected one of my most favorite hobbies - running!

you know you were a yale admit if:
-you know the link to the admit website by heart (admits.yale.edu)
-you've spent more time than you ever meant to reading the pages
-you were uncertain of where you wanted to go, and then you met the people and you can't stop thinking... ohhh the people are amazing...
-you've spent time wondering, wait, how did i get into yale? i'm such a slacker... 'cause i've put off my (insert: homework, friends, significant other, studying, scholarship applications, musical instrument practicing, et cetera) talking to other people... oh but wait, that means they're doing the exact same thing. oh *phew.* i'm good....
-you're actually questioning how the hell you got in. cause if you weren't, well, you'd probably be going to harvard... you stuck up bitch.
