Since I didn't get enough bites from this post to photo anything creative, here's my completely humdrum, yet ridiculously expensive, downtown Savannah apartment.

Downtown is the spendiest because we're in the historic area. I'm between the "you must be a lawyer/doctor to afford this shit!" streets and the "don't go there after dark!" streets, and my bare rent is $800/mo. After utilities, it's $1085. I weep every first of the month.

But at least I can walk to the river, and the Tybee beach is a 20-min drive. You should come back here and visit me sometime~.

I don't fly, so when I visit my family in TN it's a 11-13 hour drive. Yippee. Gas here is heart-failure inducing, but luckily I only fill my tank up once a month.

When I first moved here, I didn't know anyone but a few girls that lived together in a dorm. After I made friends, everyone had already put their payments down for SCAD-provided living. I'd like to have a roomie, but it probably won't happen before this lease is up. It ends in December, but I'm going to find something smaller on the high-end West part of the city. It won't be any cheaper, but I'll be rid of party-goers and punks trashing my car.

I'm not a neat-freak, but I definitely don't like living in filth. Keeping things clean became a habit when I got a cat because I can't stand to have his hair on everything. I tend to let it go during exams~.
