Thank you! :) Ya, no kidding, it's crazy. I know so many people who have been together so much longer than me and my wife and they're not even planning weddings yet. It's nuts. The day we got married was our 2 year anniversary. It's like 2 years is nothing compared to 8 years for you and the 4 and 5 years for my other friends. But it just seemed like the right thing for us to do. We were together for less than a year before we started planning! It's good to hear from you though, it's been a long long time!

some people dont need a lot of time to figure it out. We are a little different I guess, I mean half of our relationship was spent in high school. I was a freshman when we started dating. It is different when you enter a relationship as an adult I guess...I'll never know. We'll get there some day, I'm just not in an huge rush right now. Money among other issues.

But yes, it is great to hear from you and know you're doing so well!

Ya, we both have gone through our bullshit relationships in high school and past high school. I was 23 and she was 20 when we met, and we both went through our shitty relationships, and at that age, even 20, when you've been through bad stuff, you know when you've met the right one. You guys have been together for 8 years, so obivously it's bound to happen at some point, and money is a huge issue. Luckily she had a trust fund and we paid off bills and stuff, otherwise we'd have never been able to get married so soon. When you rush things, that's when it can go bad. When you do get there, make the best of it because it goes by so fast. I can hardly remember anything from our wedding and I don't even drink! It's just something that is a blur. All that time planning and spending all that money is over in just a few hours. You'll have fun planning it though. We definitely did. I wish we could do it all over again.
