Personality:
C.C. is a very strange girl. Even her theme on the soundtrack is titled 'Strange Girl'! So what makes her strange?

On the surface C.C. is a very apathetic individual. She regards most of her surroundings with a passive eye, often on the sidelines while everyone else does the action. To say it's because she doesn't care, however, would be incorrect. In this regard C.C. can be a study in contradictions. She cares, but only when it matters to her to care. Otherwise she won't lift a finger. It was this attitude that actually caused her to make a few mistakes. Initially C.C.'s goals had always been for herself. Another aspect of her passiveness is her selfishness. She's passive because if the situation is not to her benefit in any way then she doesn't care. Lelouch calls her out on this, calling her a very selfish girl, and her response is a coy smile and the saying, "Of course, for I am C.C."

Her selfish goals come from her true wish: her desire to die. Being immortal and having lived for over 100 years has made her very tired, lonely and somber about most things in like. Living is a chore because she cannot die. There is no enjoyment, no thrill, to her life. Thus she searches for a person she can pass her immortality to. In doing so this will end her life. The catch, of course, is that one must first user and master the Geass with a stable hand and mind. Because of this goal C.C. creates two mistakes: Marianne and Mao. She gives them the Geass, contracting them to grant her wish by doing so, but neither follow through. Marianne ends up being more selfish than C.C. and Mao goes insane.

These encounters as well as other encounters with non-contracted individuals in addition to having the only person she ever trusted betray her by cursing her with immorality have turned C.C. into a very detached and lonely individual. She does not form close connections to people. She doesn't even seem to care about those she enters into a Geass contract. So long as the contract is filled and she gets her wish to die, it doesn't matter to her. Yet it is the predominate loneliness that forces her to keep trying. Both with Marianne and Mao she attempted a semi-relationship with them, the first of friendship and the second as an almost mother-son type bond. But the end result left her wounded and her trust scattered. Her immorality is a factor in this as well. Being immortal, she sees little point in bonds with others because she will always and forever outlive anyone she cares about. She once told Lelouch that she had lived so long she could no longer remember who loved her and who hated her. Thus it is this loneliness that is at C.C's very core despite being outwardly flippant.

Having always been lonely, Lelouch is a whole new experience for her. He is the first person to truly care for her and she, for the first time, seems to return these feelings. He assures her that they are partners and that, because she gave him the gift of Geass, he will abide by the contract and grant her wish. This wish ends up being not to die but, because of the loneliness within her, is actually to be truly loved and cared for. Despite her care toward Lelouch, however, she does seem to have an odd way to display it. C.C. is not a kindly person, often ruthless and borderline cruel in her teasing, She can be manipulative, forcing what she wants from others by appealing to what they want. She is willful to a fault and has no qualms about the inconvenience she imposes on others. Is she in your way? Well, too bad. She isn't going to move just because you want her too. C.C. is also somewhat lazy and a mooch. She isn't interested in making her own ends and is perfectly content living off of others. It's the 'easy way out' and she's content with it.

Her laid back nature and teasing changes over time, becoming a bit less cruel to those she considers friends but still equally as frustrating. She calmly teases Kallen during a sound drama about her liking Lelouch while Kallen is trying to drive, causing her to nearly crash off the road multiple times. Yet she doesn't seem to care. She more than once twisted her words to Nunnally to make her misunderstand the nature of her relationship with Lelouch, often implying a sexual relationship when there is no such thing.

C.C. is also incredibly arrogant, a little bit vain and cynical. She's a very pessimistic person and often plays Devil's Advocate in arguments and planning strategies. She has no qualms about pointing out the ugly truth, especially to Lelpuch when he is trying to hide from it. His anger as a result unfazes her and she retains an iron will most of the time, stone faced and serious.

But she's also incredibly silly. She had an obsessive love for pizza and her stuffed Pizza Hut mascot, Cheese-kun. She has risked exposing herself twice just to get a piece of it. Her love for it is often used to tease her from both Lelouch and Kallen but she doesn't seem to care.

Outwardly cold and displaying a passive attitude, but inwardly lonely and longing for someone to truly love her, C.C. is a complex character with many faces and facades. She can adapt to the person and the situation easily but she is strongest around those who are lucky enough to earn her trust.

Extra:
Character Abilities: C.C. has the ability to enter into contracts with others by bestowing them the power of Geass. Depending on the person, the Geass takes on different forms. Lelouch's Geass can manipulate the will of others, Marianne's Geass allowed her to transfer her soul into other bodies and so forth.

She is immortal so she has impressive regenerative abilities, allowing her to recover from fatal wounds. (Although they still cause her a considerable amount of pain.) This immortality has been known to go as far as her being able to survive a beheading where, once in the distant past, she was guillotined after being accused as a witch. She also survived being torn limb from limb and burning at the stake. She is immune to the effects of the Geass and cannot use it herself. However she seems to have Geass-related abilities. When in close proximity to someone, C.C. can rapidly display a series of ominous and chaotic images into another person’s mind, usually pertaining to the memories of the target involved. It only works, however, by direct contact, though it has also been known to work through clothing or even through a Knightmare Frame. She can also project a hologram of herself that is only visible to selected people, for which the selection criteria remains unknown.

C.C. has also displayed a high skill for copiloting the Gawain Knightmare Frame. She is also a good leader, can use firearms with efficiency and is a decent unarmed fighter.

Action/Communication thread/post sample: Lelouch... I would almost dare to think you've lost your mind.

[A pause.]

Of course I will, though, right? Go along with your plan, I mean. When haven't I? Because you promised...

No, because you told me. You told me we're partners. The witch and the warlock. ... Heh. You're such a stupid boy, Lelouch. Sometimes I just don't understand what makes you special.

All right. Enough of this. ... Hey, you with the funny looking nose. I'd really like to know where I am and how I can get back. It's important.

[Another pause. This one is lengthy.]

... Well then. I guess he didn't like my joke. I think that's the first time in a long time I've been outright ignored.

Now what...
