Last night I had to say 'nay' to all of the invites to various parties/fashion shows/dinners, etc, because I was planning on packing all day today (which I did, yay me!) and now tonight, all the various "theoretical plans fell through.... and then I decided to make some dinner and watch "Cold Feet" (and do some overtime online at the same time, so ( Read more... )

did you get the one about you need to schedule your yearly doctor's check up, like we did when you were here last time? Where I offered to make you an appointment at a low-cost facility here in chi-town, if you were come through here this summer?

ah, yes, I sent a response... (though I just checked in the 'sent' box and it doesn't seem to have gone through, there's just a draft).

No worries on the dr (thank you for the offer!) since I don't think I will be coming back to the States this summer :( Although, there are new uber-cheap flights on NWA from Chicago to Shanghai (and vice versa) that I might try to take advantage of if I magically get lots of vacation time... ;)

chocolate and white wine. i had no idea.

i thought heaven was dark chocolate and red wine. i shall have to try it.

yes, but make sure the white wine isn't too sweet, and I find its best with the dark chocolate with orange, or a mint chocolate...

btw, I was watching Pride and Prejudice, the good one (ie; the A&E one that is 5 hours long, haha) last night (not all of it, mind you) and wow, that is SO good. It made the recent movie look even more pathetic... and yes, I was missing you. Do you remember watching it in your dorm lounge? When was that, freshman year? :)

so livejournal hasn't been on top of mind for me lately. But you my dear friend have :)
