I have been reading quite a bit of this drama from Awbrey's lj, but I could never figure out exactly what was happening. I do now, after reading this. Nikki, I don't think that your addicted to the pain. You just don't know how to get out of it. So you've convinced yourself that you need it. Your a wonderful, beautiful person. Don't let yourself feel differentially. All break ups are hard. Especially when the people are as close as you and Justin were. But in the end they happen. If he wasn't treating you the way you wanted to be treated, then it was the right thing to do. That just doesn't stop it from upsetting you. It's human nature to back away from change. Even to cling to the very things that make them unhappy. You've just got to learn to be stronger than that
