whenever i go out downtown i feel like no one i've ever met is original, they've all come from molds and casts of the characters i come into contact with. buy me film for my fisheye, i'll show you!
THE WORLD IS BEING OVERRUN BY HIPSTERS. DON'T BELIEVE ME? LOOK AT YOUR CLOTHES! THEY'VE GOT YOU IN THEIR GRIP, THE DEATH JOLT COMES NEXT--BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
So true. But I don't look at that as a bad thing (not saying that you do). I don't really believe in "originality." I believe that every person is unique, but that we are all "molds and casts" of the people we come in contact with throughout our lives. Nothing we do is new, everything's been done before, originality doesn't exist. But the idea of originality being non-existent doesn't bother me at all. It's an illusion, like all of the other good illusions that affect our lives (Choice, human inequality, control, etc.) It's the way life works, in my opinion, and I love it all.
