Scrubs Returns December 1st

In case you were wondering....

The retooled version of ABC's "Scrubs" will be back making rounds come December, according to the Scrubs Writers Twitter feed:

"Tuesday December 1st: the premiere date for #scrubs9 Tell your friends!"

"Did we say Scrubs is returning on ABC Tuesday December 1st? Cause it is."

that's one of the things I was wondering too.. in addition to why Cox and Turk would both totally abandon their new positions that they had for like 1/3 of a season (especially since Turk has been wanting to be chief of surgery basically since the beginning of the series).

I think if they had kept a couple more of the cast it would flow into the new series better, it seems like a lot to put on the shoulders of just 2 characters though.

I read a while ago that the general opinion is that it's not gonna survive. it might depend on how the one-hour block with Ted does, but last season ABC was in last place every week in the ratings for the Scrubs/Ted hour. but if they're hanging on to those mediocre wednesday comedy night shows, maybe there's hope.

I don't quite understand how Donald Faison can come back without Judy Reyes though? Where is Turk without Carla?

Yeah seriously. they have 2 children together so... WTF.
