I recently read an article in Bitch magazine about the "I've had an abortion" tee-shirt. Obviously, its a rather bold statement to wear on a piece of clothing, and I think I have mixed emotions about it. Personally, I admire anyone who wears that shirt. I'm not bold enough to do so...yet. But I wear my Planned Parenthood Choice bracelet to show my support for choice.

I think it just depends on the person and their personality...

I have the shirt, and I'd gladly wear it in public were it not for the fact that I live in a conservative southern city and would undoubtedly get assaulted by some yahoo. So I wear it as a nightshirt.

I would wear it, but cautiously. I like the shirt. It's not like anyone who's not comfortable is obligated to wear it, and it's not like owning it means you must wear it in public.

I like the shirt; once they start carrying one in a size that accomodates my love of baggy t-shirts, I'll order one. I don't buy into the idea I've seen in some places that it somehow cheapens pro-choice rhetoric.
