I was terrified, cried, and thought "what have I done" when I realized I was pregnant, even though we had been trying. I realized that this just isn't right for me pretty much instantaneously. I don't expect anyone to understand, but I'm having an abortion. At 39, I realize I am giving up something huge, but I can't ignore that gut feeling. I fear being judged if our friends find out.

However, I wanted to say thank you for sharing your story. It's nice to find some support.

being a parent isn't for everybody. you have to be mentally, emotionally and spiritually ready for it. YOU always know what's best, no shame in changing your mind.

and thanks, we are at the halfway mark. it's a hell of a rollercoaster, i will say that!
