cool website.

i created the images in photoshop.. they're at 72 dpi. do you think the quality would suffer greatly? maybe i could resize them, make them smaller? ugh.

the image quality for the link you gave me seems perfectly fine to me. did you use a flash template? do you use dreamweaver? i basically know nothing about flash. i just downloaded a trial version of it, and now i'm gonna download a trial version of dreamweaver 3.. i'm gonna try to figure it out on my own but any help you can provide is very much appreciated.

I created it from scratch. When I was working with my dads company wayyyy back in 2001 my main work was with Flash so I learnt a lot about it then - although it has changed an awful lots since 2001 - I'm still able to pick it up pretty easy. It's all vector graphics - ala Illustrator - and layers - ala Photoshop - but with a time line. It can be confusing at first but its not super super hard and creating what you want should be cake. My only concern is how big you want the images to display ... a flash slideshow running large hi-res 800x600 images is probably going to crawlcrawlcrawl on the intranets to the point where it would be completely unpractical for customers. That being said maybe your slideshow is just for rich clients running a fancy super fast intranet connection? Then it could be fine.
