Wow. Now I can tell you publicly how truly gorgeous this fic was. It was fascinatingly original and absolutely haunting - truly one of those stories that I could not get out of my mind. The Lethecary was an enormously compelling image, both terrifying and undeniably fascinating. Old magic. Dangerous magic. Sacrifice. Those are some pretty hefty ideas for a little boy (or grown man) to handle and yet you handled them beautifully

I've said this to a few people before, but I'm going to say it again, because I mean it, and your kind, kind words are just more evidence of it: I just absolutely love it when it's clear that a reader has understood and managed to get more out of a fic than I even realized was in there. Not to say, of course, that I could possibly write 37K and not have authorial intent, ahaha, but your insight on the Lethecary and Dumbledore, and on Snape too, are just so spot on, so well-articulated: it just makes me so happy that you enjoyed it! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

I have to second how awesome this comment is, brighty18. You say so many awesome things about this fic so brilliantly, it'd be a pale imitation for me to try :)
to imochan.. i stayed up so late the other night trying to finish this because i simply couldn't stop once I started. So many little introspections about Remus that I found absolutely fascinating.
I love Remus thinking 'avada kedavra' as he confronts peter, but isn't able to bring himself to actually do it.
The closing scene is just glorious. It's kind of beautiful that it ends with him traveling out to Azkaban to free him. Your prose throughout the whole piece is just so lyrical... it's beautiful.
I think my favourite part of this entire piece is a concept; the fact that Remus went to Dumbledore convinced of Sirius's innocence before he had a shred of evidence to support it. He went purely on belief, and dug up the proof after the fact.
Absolutely wonderful writing, congratulations on a thoroughly compelling piece.

Wow. That was really really wonderful. I'm not normally into AU stories, but this one was ... simply .. Wow. Emotional without being soppy, and that's a thin line. In the end, brighty18 said it all, so I just point up to the post and curtsey to you.
Oof. I only meant to read one part before going back to my homework and saving the rest for later, but this was so beautifully written and intriguing that I couldn't stop. I love your Remus and your Snape, but most of all how Sirius is a spectre through this entire thing. Fantastic.
