Laptop Love.

So, in about two and a half hours, I will be the proud owner of a MacBook laptop.

I'm getting the 13-inch black 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo with 1 GB of RAM and a 100 GB hard drive. And I only have to pay about $420 of my $900 from Kutz for it. Mom's picking up the rest!

(And I get a free 1 GB iPod Nano with the purchase of my computer. Cool.)

17inch+ is better!

I don't think I could stand a 13 inch... So small.

17 inches are huge. How in the word would I cart something that big and heavy to classes every day?? We have a laptop requirement at my university and there's no way I would be willing to carry something much bigger around alllll dayyyyy long. For pretty stationary use, I'd love a 17 inch, but I can't imagine taking that with me everywhere I go...

Plus, the only Mac laptops you can get with a screen bigger than 13-inch are the MacBook Pros that cost a lot more. And I don't have the money for it.

Eh, that's true... But 17 inch isn't really THAT much bigger. It's comfortably bigger.

ah! you beat me by having a 100gb hard drive, however i have a 2.8GHz Intel Core Duo with 1 GB of RAM, a 17inch screen, but only a 18gb hard drive and mine prolly weighs more, like 8lbs i think. i hope to upgrade to a bigger hard dive and install a cd and dvd burner.

I got your call, but my mother is still my mother and that means there's no way I was going to be allowed to go out at 11 or 11:30 at night. I want to see you before I leave, but we're going to need to schedule something because I've got a ton to do.

i'm really glad you told me that, i've been getting worried that you're just kinda screening my calls or something. i assumed you wouldn't be able to go out, but i thought i'd give it a shot, since i was in austin and i ddin't want to go home just yet, but here i am!

i do like that you update on your journal your schedule, even though this past one doesn't have dates or times really. you should work on that, so that i might make an appointment with you, lol.
