Dave in August: "I'm gonna go to Central, knock everything off my plate one by one, and start fresh with some new video projects one at a time. It'll be awesome."
I don't think I've gotten a single thing off my plate yet.
MY PLATE:
Eritheia: Just finished the initial cut yesterday. It's 36 minutes long. This doesn't mean it is done. I still have to shoot all the beautiful schitzophrenic touches and then do some special effects work and a great mass of audio work before I send it off to my cousin for scoring. Expect a finished product sometime in late November.
Nowhere Fast: Picked up and going strong. I'm gonna be working on it consistently all semester. It's fun, but sloppy.
IOKYOK site: The new site is being worked on. The old site still doesn't work properly. According to Del, our best option is to literally change our company name and find a new URL. The fact that it is down so much has killed my interest in keeping it updated. The new site should spark newfound love for cute little web videos.
Hans Winkerbean: Slow-moving but always exciting. Barats and Bereta produced an amazing second piece of the story, and Dave Lehre is lined up for Part 3. I don't care if it takes months just to get the first 5 pieces produced, because after that there'll be nothing stopping the process.
Deskies DVD's: Eritheia first, Deskies DVD's second. Eritheia gets my time for now. They're still in the same place they were when all my DVD info got devoured by the BCA server in May.
Channel101 Ventures: Sean is writing something that should be good, and Tom is writing something that should be good. I gotta find the time to help make them happen, because Channel 101 is something I desperately need in my life. I have some script ideas, and I plan to execute them as soon as I can.
Watching DVD TV shows with my girlfriend: We killed the first season of OC in our first week back in town, then jogged through the first season of Six Feet Under, and recently plowed through every episode of Lost including the first one of the new season just yesterday. We don't know what to do now, but we'll probably just try to keep fighting through Six Feet Under since seasons 2-4 are all available on DVD at the local rental houses.
And I added something, just because I love the abuse... CAMPUS FUN NOW! is a segment I decided to do for Central View. I'm working with Tom, which is great, and it's actually a lot of fun. The first episode was kind of a bummer because it was me learning how I was gonna do the segment... but it should be easy from here on out. I plan to submit the best segment as a "News Feature" to the MAB's in December. Once you see the segment you'll get why that's funny.

But it makes sense when it fills up paragraphs like that. Be sure to watch NOWHERE FAST, which airs for the next two weeks at 8:30pm on MHTV (Channel 34 on campus, and channel 23 off.) And if you want to check out the segment I did for Central View it should air at about 7:50pm or so on the same channel.
Oh, and don't read the paper tommorow. I take up a portion of it, and that's just silly.
