So I just thought of something - I have an interview in Rochester on Monday. I now have a facial piercing. Shit Shit Shit ... I can't take it out or anything for like three months! Do you think they would say anything about it/ reject me because of it? Can they even do that

Honestly, it is going to make a difference. You're requesting to intern in the office of a republican, conservative congressman.

If you take it out and dont get it anyway though, that'll suck. But you're not going to get it with it in. Honestly, I'd look around for internships at more liberal non-profits this summer.

It sucks. I took my piercings out for my job.

Ok when I interviewed for my job for Abbott I had my eyebrow peirced and I didn't take it out because I had just gotten it pierced. And well as you know I got the job no problem, they didn't say anything about it at the interview either. I don't wear it to work though I do put in a spacer, but I probably could I just never asked them about it. My Co-op teacher, which is what type of job I have said that is possible take it out but to just ask the company and they will let you know. I mean I also had a teacher in college one time who had pink hair and stuff and she got hired. It can play a part but then again it can't.

Woohoo for coming back to Winona! I'm so excited for there to be more than like 10 people here again. It's always so dead in the summer and when school starts I'm amazed at how much more trafic there is here. seriously, it takes me longer to drive my mile to work duing the school year than during summer. very odd.

Winonas offices are horrible at EVERYTHING. I had to bitch and complain to them about 9 times to get all the stuff I needed.

ive called this man and left three total messages leaving every possible number to reach me at. ive sent him a fax with the form, as well as a paper stating (again) the daytime number to reach me at.

I've told him repeatedly that this form (VERY VERY SIMPLY) just needs to be SIGNED and FAXED back to me, because it is due on the 19th (TODAY). I havent heard shit from him, nor gotten the form, and I call and get his voicemail.

Serious bullshit. If I cant study abroad because of this asshole I'm going to freak out
