Case, Kenni, Blake, and a couple other people now work for some Plant Partners, Inc company that deals with Lowes in.. Davidson? I think. It's 30 mins away from my house, but they make $10.50 an hour watering plants and rearranging them. I drove all the way down there today, and got there to find out the hiring manager had left for the day (of ( Read more... )

If you want the pant job turn to page 58

if you want the theatre job turn to page 65

haha, sorry it reminded me of those choice books everyone used to read when they were young. That is a tough one man. 30 min. is a bitch, but let's put it this way which would be better to keep while you're at school to come back to on breaks and make some money? Mike doesn't mind driving 35 min. to south park for almost 10 bucks so I think the wage would make up for the gas and stuff. Hope that helps a little bit =/

The plant job is seasonal and would only be for the summer.

Also Mike drives 35 min to South Park because he is working for Apple and has been brainwashed by them to enjoy working there and loving every product they've ever made. I would be watering plants.

I was thinking about that. I've been working at the theater for like five years and would like some better work experience (the library and the computer lab jobs don't really count) - but is watering plants 30 mins away really life experience?

It wouldn't be a complete change, because I'd still be working at the theater. Maybe I can find a better 2nd job locally.

I think you should try working at the plant place for a while and make sure you will like it. Also another plus for the lowes job...not dealing with customers!
It is seasonal and you wanted seasonal. But if your still hesistant about making the deicison and quitting starlight or still undecided if you want a second job you probably shouldn't take it. But try it out.
