did you attempt that hidejournal thing? i'm just curious as i've never used it.

It looked like it needed a plug-in I don't have, it's slanted towards Windows users (I'm on a mac), and I didn't really know how to make a backup of my journal. I just went back and made each individual entry Friends Only.

It took an hour, but in the end, it's probably a lot safer, and definitely worth it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

yeah, windows sucks. i'm so looking forward to a beautiful powerbook for graduation. i hope so hard that the g5s will be out.
