i think you did the right thing. don't get me wrong, i think ian is totally awesome and it sucks that you aren't together anymore. but... it's important to enjoy the experience while you can... life that is. we're all too young to settle down and get married. we have so much time ahead, why rush it now? you need to see what life has to offer you - both with and without significant others. you have years and years before you need to make the BIG life decisions.

and if all else fails they say all great loves have a second act.
