Although I'm a lot less prolific, I've noticed a relatively high bookmarks ratio too (including more hidden bookmarks). I think you're right that people are bookmarking to read later and/or to comment later. I theorize that it's part of the cascading social effects of the pandemic era - plenty of free time to kill, but less ability to focus.

Good point, COVID has changed a lot of fandom habits for me too unfortunately. I have a huge "marked for later" list right now :P
