Haven't really done much on lj for awhile except for the Valentine post. I thought more people would be into the voice meme, though. But like so many other things, usually the stuff I'm way excited about others think is just "ho hum

I believe there are some Credit Card Processor accounts that will supply you with a free non-smartphone-dependent credit card reader, but I'm not sure of their reputability or cost per month.

Another possibility is that I think at least some of the "smartphone"-style apps will run on a iPod Touch or other non-phone touchscreen device.

I know pay pal has a fancy reader, but you have to do insane business to qualify to get one. I haven't talked to the bank, yet. Even if I could use the dinosaur model where you take and actual imprint of the card would be better than nothing.

If it would work on an iPod thing, that might not be so bad. I will have to see about that.

You can get the square app thing to work on a nook that has been rooted as well...we got a friend set up with that.

I did get the Square reader, so you should be able to accept credit cards for ACen at least!

I only have three weeks before ACEN to get everything done. Why, why have I never learned my lesson about doing stuff in advance?
