I will say Claudius here because it seems to me that you want someone who will cater to you and not play away. You have theatrical instincts but I think one of the more theatrical emperors would ultimately frustrate you.
I got a strong Claudius vibe, then I reached your 'This or That' section, I had a couple of emperors to contend for you. I could see Hadrian (despite his leanings), and a bit of Nero as well. In the end, I'd go with Claudius. To the likelihood of Roman emperors, they were all dominant and outspoken in many ways. Claudius was a cautious man, but under him, Rome had made significant expansions, among them making way for the conquest of Britannia. Many of his undertakings I still consider bold moves for someone of his timid nature. There was a bit of unconventionalism to him despite his strong traditional roots (valuing freedman over the aristocrats, granting citizenship way too freely), and he was bit of a nerd(bookish), too. Logical, and artistic with inventing new games. I believe playful, love for the good life and a passionate lover would have fit well with this emperor.
