What do you hate?: Ignorance, rudeness, gardening.
Describe yourself in three words: Oh gosh - One surrealist dreamer.
In three words, how might other people describe you?: Cold. Clever. Amusing.
What are your worst fears? Humiliation, failure and spiders.
CHOICES
Frugal or Lavish: Hum - somewhere in the middle. I can save for months and then blow it all. I like pretty things, but I'm not OTT about it, generally. Recycle shops are love, as is being able to sew.
Traditional or Unconventional: Very much unconventional, but I like taking older traditions and changing them slightly. Tradition is an important tool you can wield, but know you're using it - it shouldn't use you. Individuality is very important to me.
Cautious or Impulsive: Impulsive with everything except people, who are generally nasty things and deserve the utmost caution.
Fanciful or Sensible: Fanciful
Lover or Fighter: Both are absolute tedium.
Responsibility or Popularity: A good measure of both gets you on alright, but I have been known to be both irresponsible and unpopular!
Reserved or Outspoken: Reserved.
IMPERATOR
What do you think of the Senate and the "old ways"?: The Senate is there for a reason, it should have a reasonable share in government and work as a counter-weight to the freedman bureaucracy. Also, idle senators have the time and inclination to plot.
Of course you revere the gods, don't you?: Personally, no. But appearance is important.
The people of Rome demand amusement. What do you do about it?: Throw games, put on plays and spectacles, why not?
So, how about those Greeks?: Not as good as Romans, but I enjoy their culture, particularly their art and philosophy.
What would you like to do in your free time as emperor?: Patronise the arts.
What would your legacy be? What would you want to be remembered for/as?: A wise leader who led Rome into a time of great prosperity.
WAR
There is unrest in the frontier areas; barbarians are raiding. What would be your course of action?: Are the barbarians on the frontier or across it? If they are across the frontier, reinforce the army already there and invite their chief to Rome where he will be impressed with the great scale of my Empire and his insignificance. And then make him sign a treaty with us favourable to Rome. Preferably leaving his kingdom to Rome. If the revolt is inside the frontier - capture and crucify the lot of them.
You learn of a revolt in the provinces, led by one of your generals. What do you do?: Shit. Put him down with the utmost efficiency.
Overall, how would you feel about your role as supreme commander of the legions?: Unsure, I don't enjoy military life myself, but I respect those who do and the necessity of the legions respecting me.
Anything else you think we should know?: No.
