Hum. I was leaning toward Nero, due to your love of acting, but your attitude to Greeks and your indifference to popularity means you can't be Nero, nor can you be Commodus - both those emperors cared a lot about their image in the eyes of the populace, which you don't seem to, yet you do love being the centre of attention...

So... it looks like you're Caligula. Because like that emperor you enjoy being supreme commander without really knowing how to strategize, you don't care about what people think of you as long as you're obeyed. You like games and make-believe and you're quite ready to make your senators tow the line by force. You want lavish parties and sex.

"I am, initially, mad-how dare they demand something from their Imperator?" This seems pure Caligula to me. He was very attached to his daughter, so I suppose that could fit with your love for children. If I had to strech I could say that your preference for Egypt indicates an incestuous temprement... lol.

Yep, for me you are Caius Caligula.

Incestuous temperament? And why would that be?

Hehe. As it is customary for Ptolemies to marry their siblings, Roman authors often refer to Egypt as "Incestuous Egypt". So (by my blatently OTT reading of your comment in the light of Roman bigotry) by aligning yourself with Egypt you allign yourself with incest and thence with Caligula...

... this is the sort of crap one learns to produce by doing an arts degree. *sighs* It was more a joke than anything else. I'm going to go back to studying for my exam now. *head-desk*

I was thinking Caligula or maybe Commodus at first, but the more I read, the more I see Domitian. Like him, I can see yourself treating everyone as you see fit regardless of station and class. He was aggressive, bold, vindictive, fanciful, answers only to his own ruling - ignoring the senate for the most part and not afraid to show contempt. Known for his lavishness, his strictness on handling the economy, and I might just be drawing his vindictiveness from being a tyrant and acquiring a taste for blood and amusement, but it does seem to fit. What you'd do during your spare time really reminds me of this emperor as well. Domitian was also suspicious and fearful for any acts of assassination, and he did try to revere himself more by pushing for an imperial cult and erecting a temple under his name. So.. it's Domitian from me.

I agree with alequinn_sedai, in that I see more Domitian. Like she pointed out, you say you're assertive, strong-willed, nobody's fool, fierce-tempered and vindictive. Besides that, you're fanciful and impulsive. Really, these traits along with your answers concerning your rule sound very much like Domitian, more so to me than Caligula. You seem more, I dunno, grounded than Caligula, in ways.

Btw, I apologize for the stamping process taking so long. I just put up another reminder post and I'd like to wait and see if you garner a few more votes as a result of it. Regardless, you will be stamped within the next few days. Again, I am sorry it's taking so long, and I thank you for your patience!

I really thought, I already voted on this one... Nevermind. I don't want to repeat all the reasons, because the previous two comments were pretty much explaining it. It's Domitian for you.
