Controlling or Passive: Somewhere in between with a good room for others to breathe. I'd be influential and respected in such a way one would want to be controlled.
Beauty or Brains: I want the presence of a fighter regardless of my beauty. I'd have more charisma than anything.

Haughty or Humble: Gracious. I can be humbled by many things, and I'm gracious enough to accept all the compliments and good things that come my way, and I'm condescending and no-nonsense enough, openly so to those I do not like.
Dutiful or Reckless: Dutiful, with always that bit of daring recklessness for good measure to keep others on their toes.
Idealistic or Pragmatic: Pragmatic. I associate myself strongly as an idealist, but in essence, all my idealism are for pragmatic uses. I do not plan or place faith in things unattainable.
Jealous or Confident: Confident! I'm competitive, but I don't think I have anything on anyone that can particularly raise my jealousy. I do what I can, and if I feel that 'I want what you have', that's rather a compliment, I'll stick to what I do and might later go after something like it happily and without remorse.

What is most important to you?: My principles, friends and family, being all that I can be.
What are some of your deepest regrets?: Of all the things I could possibly regret, I regret nothing, since they teach me a lot earlier on and have matured me more than I could possibly ask of myself. I have a good headstart in life, come to think of it, it's good enough to lay all these regrets to rest by simply saying: I have learnt.
Describe your relationship with the emperor: A match blessed by everyone, everything I could possibly look for in a man. Someone to be my equal, my support, my everything. Someone who'll back me up, challenge me, make me smile and hopefully can match his willpower to my own.
Describe your role in the management of the empire. Are you at all involved in it, or do you exist more behind the scenes?: Behind? I would shove myself to the very front! People will hear what I have to say personally, and in good numbers, they'll hear it. I'll be active everywhere, nothing overbearing or unwanted, but just the right amount to show I only do what's necessary. And I'd come out on a whim sometimes, either to please the masses or do as I please!
How interested are you in gaining power for yourself?: If Rome could be ruled by a woman, I'd have aspired to that height.
Would you feign affection/love in order to win favor?: I do not feign affection. I'll be the one to straight out and say that, and still call for the favour. If I cannot love, I won't - I'll have other things I'd put on the table to make sure I'll get what I want.
How do you deal with rivals for the emperor's attention?: How should I deal with them. Leave them be, be kind to them, mock them out of sports, influence their actions, befriend them, kill them if they try anything dangerous against the empire. So long as they're not a threat, I'll let them have their way, unless of course, they're really stepping on my toes.
What do you imagine your personal legacy to be? How will history treat you, the woman at the emperor's side?: A powerful drive of the empire who had the interest of Rome at heart. I will not be bowed down by circumstances, and people will attest to that.
SCENARIO
Due to an unfortunate series of ill-advised decisions and public actions, the emperor's popularity is dwindling fast. In all likelihood, he'll be forced from his position soon. Aware of this serious situation, what do you do? Do you stand by him or do you side with his detractors in hopes of preserving your own life and influence?: I'd stand by him and fight for him till the very end. If I can use my influence, then I'll reach out to the people; the military and the nobles and the common people. I must predict people's hearts, to go with or without outside allies. I have no interest in the promise of rebellion, nor siding with them. If I've done wrong, I'll fix that wrong. I'll do everything I can so that Rome will not turn away for disloyalty.
