I really enjoyed this, loved how understated it all was, and was very impressed to find myself caring about your OCs. Great work!

You've got the tone of the show down very well, not to mention the characters' voices, particularly Hathaway's, and I really liked the fact that Lewis could read his thoughts. :D

Thank you so much for writing! ♥

Gods, what a lovely thing to curl up and read this evening.

I love the subtlety of their mind-reading and ease with each other.. it's intoxicating.

I have very little idea who these people are except that one picspam you posted, I think? But this was interesting! I like the OCs (they're OCs, right?) being all fleshed out and the like. To the extent that a guest character would be fleshed out on a procedural show, so it felt kind of like an actual procedural-type thing. If that makes sense? And also there is conversation without talking, which is the best kind of conversation ever.

Yay! is what it really comes down to. My local PBS affiliate claimed a few weeks ago that they were airing Lewis, but it is NOT ON THEIR SCHEDULE and they are LYING LIARS and now I am even more sad. :(

Oh, yay, I am happy you read this despite knowing so little about the characters! (Though, of course, I'm sorry about the lack of Lewis in your life.) You're right about the OCs being OCs, and I'm glad you liked them -- I had a lot of fun with the fleshing out. Thank you!

Oh, a crime plot with slash, you've made me very happy!

I love your plot and your characters, it's all very convincing and feels like a real episode; especially Tyler's POV's are very lively and funny.

I also enjoyed the parts written in Hathaway's POV; he's always so private and enigmatic and you never know what's going on in his head; but still you nailed him down perfectly, his dry humour made me giggle a few times.

And then, of course, the slash -- aw! The end where Lewis finally tries to talk is very sweet. Tea and coffe! *g*

Oh, yay, thank you very much for this comment -- I'm really glad you liked this. I had a lot of fun writing Tyler, so I'm glad you liked his POV, and it makes me happy that Hathaway's POV worked for you. Thank you! :D

I've just gotten into Lewis, and this was exactly what I was looking for! I'm so glad I was steered over here, because I really enjoyed this story. I loved the episode feel, and the banter and voices rang pitch perfect. So much left unsaid, just as they are on the show. Thanks so much!

(I was pointed here by villainny, by the way.)
