Okay, I took a poll about making my journal friends only, and after reading the responses I have made a decision: I will be making my journal friends only. I know more people suggested I just do that with certain posts, but frankly I am too lazy to try and decide which ones are too sensitive to be read by the public. There are some posts I made ( Read more... )

I really have not regretted making mine "friends only" last year...

Why thank you. I enjoy your journal as well, expecially the philosophical posts. You may certainly stay.

There's a security feature on livejournal that makes all your posts friends only from now on. Even if you accidently put it public it will go ahead and force it to be friends only.

Here is what you do:

"To set the minimum security level of all future entries in your journal, log in (http://www.livejournal.com/login.bml) and go to the Admin Console (http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console) and execute the following command:

set newpost_minsecurity friends

Do not enter the < or > symbols; these are only for reference purposes. To set the minimum security level to Friends-only, replace with "friends". To set the minimum security level to Private, replace with "private". To turn off the minimum security level, replace with "public". "

The website where I got that information is located here.

That's pretty nifty, however, what if I want to make a public post from time to time? Which I possibily will...

Hi. I'm Kristi. I was diagnosed as bipolar about 6 weeks ago. Shortly thereafter, I was fired. I'm currently seeking work while trying to learn as much as I can about this disorder.

I found you through a comment in a bipolar community posting [one about seeing bugs that aren't there] and I'd like to add you, if it's ok. It sounds like you have symptoms that are similar to mine, and that you know about the drugs I'm taking [Lithium, Klonopin, Seroquel] and I've seen few that are educated about Seroquel, and about anti-psychotics in general.

Anyway, point is, wanna be my friend?

Picked this post at random. Wanted to let you know that Aleister Crowley's name is misspelled on the apocalypticfolk interest list. Please don't shoot me.
